Our brand has made many strides in just a few years. With features from Buzzfeed, to Fortune 500 Companies like AT&T. We have touched many on a global scale to "Bring Culture to the Table". Our two ORIGINAL collections have inspired people worldwide to join us in celebrating culture. From the countrysides of Sweden, to the beautiful Islands of Malta. We are honored each day, to create and share our love for a rich African heritage.
Our Goal?
It is important while on this journey we do ALL we can to protect our original designs and work, while also uplifting our community. We are asking our community to sow a seed of support that will allow us to achieve one of our many goals. One of which includes starting a non-for profit division for Rain Sky Home. We want our clients to feel empowered through every purchase, by doing our part to give back to underrepresented communities. Communities that are close to home.
As a former Foster child-adoptee; I understand the emotional challenges many youth face, and want to create spaces that promote education through the arts, explore creativity, with a focus on mental health and entrepreneurship.
My mother; who adopted me and who his currently battling Cancer; has always inspired me to pursue my dreams fearlessly. My love for art and culture started at a very young age. I was afforded the luxury to attend a prestigious art school in St. Louis, The Center of Contemporary Arts, and because of her, I never felt limited in what I could accomplish. As she fights this illness; with your help, I want to fight against the fear, doubt, and lack of resources that plagues our youth. I want them to know, though your family dynamic may look different, though your journey in this life may have started out a little rougher. The world is truly your canvas. You have the power to create a beautiful life, for yourself and those around you.
How Will My Donation Be Used?
Our goal is to raise $25,000. Your donation will go directly to securing a business attorney, filings fees, and ongoing operations costs to achieve our goals. Each and every donation is important to us. As a Donor you will receive a custom "Welcome Home" package from our Owner, and any donations made on behalf of your company, we will gladly feature your business across our social media platforms, newsletters, and marketing materials.
